Ross-on-Wye Kingston Black
Watch Chris's review HERE.
Kingston Black is one of the most revered British cider apples and widely considerd one of the best for 'single variety' ciders (unblended). This example pours golden/amber with nice bubbles and delivers a decent hit of ripe apple on the nose with hints of farmyard and bacon (seriously). It is dry on the palate with nice tannns, good mineralty, ripe apple and a suggestion of dairy (cheese). A lovely, complex, refreshing cider.
