A blended cider made by Kevin Garrod in Monmouthshire from the 'Brown's', 'Dove', Major & 'Hangdown' apples varieties.

'Brown's' is a first rate cider apple, dating back to South Devon around 1895. The excellent vintage quality of the sharp, clean and fresh tasting juice mean it has been planted extensively in orchards across the South West over the last few decades.

'Major' is an old variety found in many traditional orchards through Somerset and Devon. It is a very useful early cider apple, ripening by the end of September and helping to extend the cider making season. It has been used extensively in the bush orchards of the 1980s/90s and the juice makes a full bittersweet, fruity cider.

'Dove' and 'Hangdown' are two much rarer varieties from the south west counties of England including Somerset and Devon.
